Students will need an Apple ID to install Apps.
It is a requirement for an Apple ID that a child is to be over 13 years of age, parents will need to create this ID in their name using the student’s school or personal email address. Even if parents have an existing Apple ID, it is highly recommended that students have their own for school use.
The Apple ID does not need to be linked to a credit card. The easiest way to setup a new Apple ID is to open the AppStore on the device and purchase a free app.
